Thought it was reasonable to ask your bridesmaids to give up every other Saturday before the wedding? Maybe not. Have a look over what you’ve asked, and ask someone objective if they think it’s okay. Ask your maid to be honest and if she’s got any issues with the jobs.

Don’t give all the work to one person and expect them to be happy with it. Invite all your girls round for planning parties and always provide wine.

Accept that no one is ever going to as into this as you are
Sorry, but it’s just a fact. If your bridesmaid can’t remember what shade your napkins are or how many readings you’re having, it doesn’t mean she doesn’t care – it just means she has other stuff going in.

Ask her if she wants the job
If you really get the sense that she’s not happy in her bridesmaid role, ask her honestly if she still wants the job. At least then you know.
