At Perfect Wedding HQ we’re on official countdown to Pippa Middleton’s big day (eight says to go people!).

We can’t wait to see Prince George as a pageboy and Princess Charlotte as a flower girl (looking frickin' adorable), James Matthew (brother of Made in Chelsea lothario, Spencer) looking handsome in a suit, and of course Pippa looking ah-mazing in a white dress (again!).

Unsurprisingly the rumour mill has been churning with plenty of “facts” about Pippa’s big day. We’ve already know that the “no ring, no bring” rule is happening. Guests are not allowed to bring a plus one unless their engaged or married. (Unless you’re Prince Harry of course – Note: also ridiculously excited about Meghan Markle’s wedding guest dress).

Now Daily Mail journalist Richard Eden has confirmed that wedding guests will be expected to bring two outfits for the big day – one for the ceremony and one for the evening.

The columnist tweeted: “Guests at #pippamiddleton’s wedding have been asked to take second outfit for reception. Is this a trend? Sounds like a bore to me.”

We personally love a costume change (Duchess Kate and Meghan in two guest dresses – woop!), and we’re seeing more and more guests choosing to bring comfier clothes, that are better for dancing in the evening. But, does actually enforcing a two-outfit rule make the whole idea a whole lot less fun, (and a lot more expensive) – what do you think?
