WEDDING DIY PLACE CARD HOLDERS WITH HERB DECORATION
You will need
Plain tissue paper in pink and white
Polka-dot tissue paper in brown and green
Glue gun or PVA glue
Step 1. Cut a sheet of tissue paper measuring 23x66cm.
Step 2. Fold it in half to make a rectangle measuring 23x33cm.
Step 3. Leave a 5cm gap along the folded edge and cut the rest of the doubled sheet into a fringe, being careful not to rip the paper.
Step 4. Unfold the sheet and fold up the uncut central strip into accordion pleats, 2cm wide.
Step 5. Fold the pleated paper into an inverted U-shape. Paste a narrow strip of tissue just below the top, so that the tassel holds its shape. Using a glue gun will give you more precision and control.
Step 6. Make 15 more tassels in the same way, so you end up with four of each colour.
Step 7. To make the garland, thread the string through the loops at the top of the tassels, alternating the colours as you go.
