Ibis Docklands: a cosy bed for a good night's sleep

Jetting off on honeymoon? The Ibis Docklands is the perfect place for a peaceful night's sleep before you take flight, as it’s a short ride away from London City airport. We checked in to the hotel online saving time when we arrived and then went straight up to our cosy room to relax.

The room had all the essentialss for an overnight stay - an ensuite bathroom, a hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, a big desk (as if we'll be doing any work), wifi and a TV (now that's more like it...).

Getting up for an early flight will be made slightly easier knowing there is an all-you-can-eat buffet waiting. We tucked into hearty bacon and eggs and polished it off with a pastry (or two!).

The friendly staff at the desk made checking out super speedy - so you'll have plenty of time to make the gate!

Rooms start from £59 per night.
