Sponsored feature: Wedding favours with a difference
The Mind blue badge

For a favour with a difference, that has meaning, and can last long after the confetti has settled, then check out Mind, the mental health charity’s selection.

Blue Pin Badges (above)
These pin badges in the ‘Mind blue’ are great because they also double up as place setting cards too.

All Mind’s pin badges are 25mm and have a butterfly fastening.

Gold Pin badges
The warm colour of the gold pin badges would work a treat for an autumnal themed wedding – or Christmas, summer and spring for that matter too!

Silver Pin badges
Silver – the perfect choice for a wedding with a timeless classic theme. Not only are the badges a way to show your guests you care about mental health, but they are help spread awareness about mental health and the vital work that Mind does to help make sure everyone with a mental health problems gets the support and respect they deserve.

Mind Candles
A special way for your guests to be reminded that you chose to support Mind on your wedding day. Presented in organza bags, they will have a safe passage to the end of the wedding celebrations.

In a Mind bride’s own words
“When Josh and I got engaged we couldn’t wait to get planning the big day; however it was also on my mind that my mum would not be there to see it. After living with depression for a number of years, she took her own life in 2012.  That’s why we decided to support Mind on our wedding day; to honour her memory and give back to the charity.

We chose the blue and silver pin badges and it was lovely to see our guests wearing them by the end of the meal. Many people also told us how thoughtful the idea was.

If we have helped make people aware of this wonderful charity and mental health problems by having Mind favours, then our perfect day has new meaning and it gives us both and our families great comfort.”

"My partner and I have both struggled with Mental Health issues, and at a crisis point last year I was able to get counselling through Mind. Everyone was welcoming and helpful and Mind must be invaluable to so many others. By having Mind badges as our wedding favours we could give back support and spread awareness. They were really appreciated by all the guests who thought they were a lovely touch and gave mental health support a positive slant."
