Not sure what wedding video song to choose? We can help! We receive an eclectic mix of song choices – from Daft Punk to film scores – however, some choices do work better than others for wedding videography! Here are some of our top tips to help you pick.
The most important thing to consider for your wedding video music is whether or not it reflects the day. For example, classical pieces suit cathedral ceremonies and traditional receptions, whereas something a bit livelier like folk music will suit a marquee in a field. Songs with a slower tempo are also more suited to the beginning of the wedding video and vice versa, so it’s good to provide your wedding videographer with a wide selection of songs for them to pick from.
50 SONGS TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE TO
You may be tempted to pick the current number one but will you love it as much in 20 years’ time? It may be best to pick a song that means something special to you both.
And most importantly be sure to pick what you want and don’t feel like your wedding videographer will judge you! It’s your film and it’s their job to give you exactly what you want.
