Every bride and groom want Pinterest-worthy, natural wedding photographs to cherish from their big day. But how to do you achieve those beautiful candid photos? We reveal all…
11 GORGEOUS RAIN PHOTOGRAPHS YOU NEED TO SEE
Choose the right photographer
The best way to get the photographs you’ve always dreamed about is to do your research. Find a photographer who specialises in natural reportage photography and go through their online portfolio thoroughly.
Once you’ve narrowed down your search, organise a few meetings (just a Skype call will work if you’re pushed for time) and check that you feel comfortable with them and find out about their approach on the day: how long will they be there for? What moments will they capture and what are their priorities?
Also ask to see a full sample album of work. Often photographers just put the highlights on the website so this will allow you to see the natural moments they caught (and any they might have missed!).

Think about a second shooter
If you have just one photographer they will be concentrating on capturing all those key moments (first kiss, confetti, group shots etc.) and this will always take the top priority over candid shots (as it should).
Consider having a second shooter (if your budget allows) as they will be free to capture all those natural moments in between the traditional shots. They can also experiment with different angles and capture a wider variety of photographs which makes for a more interesting wedding album.
