Staying stress-free in the run-up to W-day is all about delegating!
Groom:
- Organising the legal bits of the ceremony and filling in all the paperwork
- Booking the honeymoon
- Choosing the best man/ushers
- Organising outfits for the groomsmen
- Arranging wedding transport
- Giving a speech on the day
- Checking the content of the best man’s speech
Best Man:
- Coordinating the ushers
- Making a speech
- Organising the stag night
- Making payments to suppliers on the day
- Organising the collection and return of groomsmen’s outfits
- Looking after the rings
- Making announcements at the wedding breakfast
Ushers:
- Handing out orders of service
- Showing guests where to sit
- Helping out the best man with any tasks he has
- Organising guests for any group photographs
Chief Bridesmaid:
- Helping the bride choose her wedding dress
- Organising the hen night
- Helping the bride to get ready on the morning of the wedding
- Making payments to suppliers on the day (along with the best man)
- Holding the bride’s bouquet during the service
- Looking after the bride’s possessions during the wedding ceremony
Mother of the bride:
- Helping the bride choose her wedding dress
- Helping the bride with the wedding planning
- Sending invitations and keeping track of RSVPs
