Bryony realised that Chris was the ultimate husband when they started thinking about their festival wedding – he not only got involved, but did most of the planning! "I have to admit I didn't really do that much – Chris was the main organiser!" Bryony laughs. "We both knew we wanted something a bit different though, and loved the idea of an outdoor wedding."

"We decided on a weekend-long mini festival based around good friends, family, food and music," Bryony explains. "Fforest in Celigerran, Wales, was the perfect choice. All our guests could stay on-site in converted croglofts, tents and tipis, which was lovely!"

The couple also loved that they could hold their civil ceremony in the tiny on-site pub, which was followed by a ceremony conducted by Chris' dad in the main tipi on the following day.

"We didn't have a set theme, but we wanted to fit in with the venue and time of year," says Bryony. "It was all quite informal and flowery! The groomsmen wore orange ties and sunflower buttonholes, we decorated the tables with sunflowers, and I also carried them in my bouquet."

"Above the tables we hung handmade bunting made out of old clothes to give a vintage feel – they looked great!"

"What we loved about our wedding was how relaxed it all was," adds Bryony. "The day itself was magical. After our ceremony everyone tucked into our cheese wedding cake, then listened to some local bands who played. The day ended with everyone piling into the tiny pub on-site – it was so much fun!"

Bryony wore a beautiful vintage-look dress designed by Emma Hunt – a friend recommended her and I loved how elegant and simple her designs were. I tried on a few other dresses with her and they were gorgeous but not quite what I was looking for; the one I ended up with wasn't one I instantly picked up, but it felt much more 'me'!

Emma made Bryony's dress even more special by creating a cool veil for her! She also paired her dress with gorgeous Jimmy Choo sandals. "I wore a pearl necklace of my mum's as a bracelet, my sister's eternity ring which was left to her by my grandmother, a 'love ring' given to me on the morning of the wedding by my best friend and my granny's lace hanky – all these special touches meant so much to me."

Rather than eating a traditional wedding breakfast, the couple's guests tucked into delicious homemade pizzas! They also had two amazing Volkswagon camper van shaped wedding cakes!

Bryony's bridesmaids also looked fabulous, wearing vintage-look maxi dresses from Warehouse that fitted perfectly with the laid-back wedding scheme.
