Stripping Hair Dye?

Stripping Hair Dye?

Postby catherine.s » Thu Apr 12, 2012 7:48 pm

Bit of a long shot but does anyone know what the best way to strip hair dye out is? I had me hair dyed a couple of months ago, and although it is starting to grow out, I would like my hair my natural colour for my wedding. Didn't quite expect it to be so soon! I know doing this could cause my hair some damage, and as we are planning for a Nov wedding, I want to be sure my hair has a chance to recover before the big day! Any tips/ advice gratefully received!! :)

This is a tricky one! I think probably the best thing to do is to go back to your hairdresser and ask them what they recommend. It might be best to just use colour to recreate your natural shade rather than strip out existing dye, but I'd say it's definitely a job for a professional!

Hi ya,
There is a product call B4, you can buy it in the supermarket, i got one from saino's! In the Hair Dye aisle! it took my colour out, probably not completely but stripped most of it! you can then either re-dye it or leave it! Cant remember now as it was months ago when i did it!
Good Luck
