The couple held their wedding at the beautiful Rogerthorpe Manor in Badsworth. They loved the countryside location, pretty grounds, and amazing hog roast menu that they knew their guests would love!
Bonnie wore a beautiful 3/4-length dress which she found in a thrift store in LA! "I loved the lace and scalloped hemline, and knew that even though it wasn't the right size or shape, I could make it just what I wanted!" she explains. She took it to Ladies Day in Leeds (www.ladiesday-leeds.co.uk), where it was transformed into her dream dress.
CJ and Bonnie didn't want to give their day a strict colour scheme. They decided to base the look around lace, lavender and daisies, and their quirky, romantic celebration developed from there! "We knew we wanted something colourful, fun and not too uniform," Bonnie explains. "By choosing what we liked and not being too concerned about a theme, we found that everything just came together – the relaxed vintage floral theme was pure chance and worked with our relaxed attitude."
The couple's pretty tiered cake was from Top Tier Cakes (www.top-tier-cakes.co.uk), and was displayed alongside cute, colourful watering cans which were filled with flowers.
Guests enjoyed a selection of retro sweets on the tables, displayed in pretty glass jars decorated with lace. They're a great alternative to favours, and will go down well with guests with a sweet tooth!
